Abstract: The Nova Scotia Civic Address File (or NSCAF) is Nova Scotia’s definitive province-wide civic addressing source. The provinces fifty-five municipalities and provincial government departments such as Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations and the Department of Transportation and Public Works maintain the NSCAF. The database consists of a street centreline, community boundaries, and civic-addressable points.
